It does, but I think it actually serves a much better purpose than Whedon's usual happiness=boring. At least, for those of us acquainted with better supervillain origins.
Yeah, totally agreed on VB. It might well be the star of Adult Swim's line-up, and yet it's pretty much little more than a cult hit in the bigger picture. Sadness.
Oh, I'm hard at revising the novel and am currently on page 64. I've cut out six whole pages so far in the name of tightening up and streamlining, turning three scenes into one powerhouse scene! I feel so accomplished!
But I dunno how much progress I'm gonna make after the next week, especially since the actual Two-Face parts are gonna get an overhaul, and there's still several chunks of Gilda revisin' to go. But I would like to take advantage of your free time in August. Wouldja be up for checking out the first revised half at least? Or just wait for the fall for the whole monster?
