Simon Pegg? I'm kind of mreh. They couldn't find anyone actually Scottish?

Now, all we need is an authentically Japanese (well...at least half Japanese) actor, like Takeshi Kaneshiro, as Mr. Sulu, and this might have a chance of not sucking.

I've been told by an actual Scotsman that Pegg does a great Scottish accent. The dude's proven himself to actually be a great actor, and he's got geek cred galore!

As for Sulu... it's Harold from HAROLD AND KUMAR GO TO WHITE CASTLE. Seriously.

With Eric Bana as the bad guy.

My favorite part in the trailer is when they're in the holding cell and Suit Number 1 mentions that there's something "wrong" with Harold's eyes.
