As a living Scotsman myself I am happy about this. I came to this conclusion using the following formula
- Pegg is awesome
- Being Scottish is Awesome
- Pegg is English but was one of the creative forces behind SPACED which was awesome
- Doohan was Canadian, which is pretty much Scottish!!

I've been told by an actual Scotsman that Pegg does a great Scottish accent. The dude's proven himself to actually be a great actor, and he's got geek cred galore!

As for Sulu... it's Harold from HAROLD AND KUMAR GO TO WHITE CASTLE. Seriously.

My favorite part in the trailer is when they're in the holding cell and Suit Number 1 mentions that there's something "wrong" with Harold's eyes.
