So! Free read-thru of THE HEFNER MONOLOGUES: HOW HEFNERIAN this Friday Friday Friday at tommx's place. It's BYOB, but I'll be providing a 1.5L bottle of Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon for all. The show starts at 8ish, so arrive around 7:30ish? Yeah, that'll work.

I'm wondering whether or not to ask folks to take notes during the show. On one hand, the notes y'all did last time were *incredibly* helpful. On the other hand, there's nothing quite as off-throwing as seeing people start scribbling in reaction to something I did on stage. Either way, save enough of the wine for me.

Aw, don't worry about it! Honestly, this is gonna be rather rough, a totally informal thingie, and I'd much rather your first impression of me performing be on stage in its full, polished form!

I still hate the fact that my ex-girlfriend only ever saw me perform once, and it happened to be in the worst play I've been in to date.

Well, I look forward to seeing you--I love stand-up. A lot. :D Also I love hanging about with theatre kids. They're the most fun. Which is, incidentally, why I'm going to have a go at being one.
