Yeah, so I found out today that I've been awarded Honors for my Drama thesis. Apparently the award is for acting. So, yeah. Boo-yah and all that.
Now if I can just figure out where to put that on the ol' resume, so I can actually use it beyond bragging rights, we'll be golden.
So yes. Honors. Praise Doom. Richards has been foiled this time.

Date: 2005-05-13 04:20 pm (UTC)Seriously, you should put it on your resume under "honors", as Ms. Ratcliffe said. It doesn't buy you anything directly, unless you're applying to acting school, but it suggests to an employer that you worked hard in school and did more than the minimum graduation requirements. It won't guarantee anything, but I always get depressed looking at resumes that show that the guy did nothing more than go to class. They're not bad people, but they always seem to lack the spark that I need for employees I hire. I like to see a little extra effort that says, "I know something; I do stuff; I like to work on things and solve problems."
