shadowcaptainGoddamn. I want to print these out and have them in an actual deck. I don't care if it'd be an ultimate vanity project, someone needs to put these up on cafepress and sell them at shows.
Cap never ceases to amaze me. Even when he's playing fucking HAMLET, he still finds the time to do those absolutely wonderfully ridiculous side projects of his. This latest one, however, is one I'm still thinking about. Even if you're not a member of the Rudes, you've GOTTA check this out.
RUDE MECHANICALS TAROT DECK
While almost certainly done purely for fun, I'm actually investing a lot of thought into the choices Cap has made here. Of course, as with any tarot deck, I'm going into this one from a standpoint of what it means to me. However, unlike any other tarot deck, this one actually has the figures from my life (including myself and a certain other person in a VERY interesting card).
It's kind of a mindfuck, and I like it. Rest assured I'll be pondering this one for a long time, which I imagine would probably only have Cap rolling his eyes and thinking, "Foolish Heffie." Except I'm not the fool anymore. Maybe a year ago I might still have been, but now I really am the Hanged Man, aren't I?
Damn, I'll be thinking about this all week.
