Spike and the Bottle City of Kandor??
Jul. 23rd, 2005 11:50 amIn other news, James Marsters will be appearing on Smallville next season. Playing Brainiac. Yes, Brainiac. For those not familiar with Superman lore, Brainiac is Superman's greatest enemy next to Lex Luthor. Brainiac's whole goal is to collect information on everything in the universe, then destroy everything after he records its information, so he will be the only one to possess this knowledge. He is cold, unfeeling, and fucking evil as all hell. He's one of those villains like Ra's al Ghul, Reverse Flash, Gorilla Grodd, or Sinestro (like, about 3 of you are still probably with me at this point, I know) where when they show you, you're just like "AW, SNAP!
Erm. Anyway, yes. This could be interesting indeed. Some impressively unconventional casting. Looking forward to it. And maybe, just maybe, it'll get some of you Buffyites into more comics' lore. (oh who am I kidding? The Spider-Man movies came out, and they sold more Spider-Man brand toothpaste than Spider-Man comics. I'm not even kidding, that's the sad thing.)
