Aug. 15th, 2005 11:42 pmI told Kristen the Hefner Monologue about my grandfather. She didn't laugh at the punchline. She thought the whole thing was too sad. I hope this isn't a red flag or anything, he thought half-whimsically.
Why would anyone have the toilet paper feed under the roll? It just makes no sense. And for that matter, why do the majority of people in retail hand back change with the coins on top of the dollar bills? I have made it a point to hand the customer back the change first, then the bills. Why would anyone do it with the coins on top, where they can so easily slide off and scatter?
And what is the deal with intrgrated bumpers? They kind of totally defeat the purpose of bumpers as protection of the car. Now my bumper has a huge ass dent in it that it wouldn't have if it had been a regular old rubber bumper.
It makes me very sad to see that Gwen Stefani has gone from being an indie ska queen to a hip-pop label whore Madonna wannabe. Sure, her new stuff may be catchy, but just because something like Titanic can get an emotional reaction out of me, it doesn't make it good.
