I didn't think they'd do the shirt, dude. Like, was anybody actually wearing that shirt in the 60's even?? I think they even nailed the bizarre hair. Flint Marko was the only other character in Marvel to have the Osborn hair.

It looks like they did something to his ears too, to make him look more like Marko. I don't believe the actor's ears stick out that far normally. Nice attention to detail. He seems to have bulked up quite a bit too, for a guy his age.

This film will be decided 99% on the CGI, though, considering the two villains...

The hair isn't quite like in the comic, IIRC. Wasn't Marko's hair a bit wavier? (I'm picking a tiny nit here; just being temporarily obsessive.)

See, I'm no huge Venom fan, but I just how to bejeezus that the rumor on CHUD.com's not true and that they're gonna follow Ultimate Spider-Man Venom a little too closely and have him be purple. Grape jelly purple. God, I hope not.

Venom might have purple highlights, but I can't see how they can make him more purple than black and still have him be scary. I do believe that they'll follow the origin from the Ult universe though, since there is no chance they're explaining Secret Wars. Or they could just take the simplest route and say the symbiote was something Jonah's sun brought back on his aforementioned space mission.

Heh, funny thing is, the only connection I really have with jellied is I think I commented to her at one point and that was it. I love how I have a tiny handful of people who read my journal and I don't know about it.

Yeah, black slimy ooze Venom, like right outta X-Files, that'd be fucking scary. I imagine they'll follow the Ultimate plot, the Marvel movies seem to be doing that a lot (Ultimate Doom... ugh). As for the space mission, oh god, it's Species 2 all over again!!!

Yeah, they're also doing a tiny bit of Venom-style goo on Smallville right now, with the Brainiac character, who they're apparently modelling after Robert Patrick's T2000 a little bit, but black.

venom is the obvious next villain.. i'm surprised they are going with sandman as well.. especially considering green goblin would seem to be coming back as well.
