I think Photobucket automatically updated my account, which means they automatically charged me from my BB&T account, which may mean that unless there's enough money in there I'M GONNA GET CHARGED AGAIN!!! WTF, Photobucket? LJ doesn't automatically charge from my account! I sent them a letter asking them to cancel the charge.

Arg, I need to cancel my BB&T account so badly, I haven't used them at all, but I have to drive all the way out to Shady Grove to do it. They just want to make it as hard as possible. The Richards of the world are always out to get you.

It's apalling that I'm only now watching THE ADVENTURES OF BUCKAROO BANZAI ACROSS THE 8TH DIMENSION. My god, what an awesome movie. And even better, the DVD I'm watching of it comes equipped with running "factoids" about the movie on the subtitles. Tidbits such as, "Professor Hikita once created an atomic bomb using only an abacus," and my personal favorite so far:

"In his bag, Buckaroo is carying a bazooka, Einstein's brain, and a tuna sandwich. Much as Sir James "Black" Douglas vowed to carry out Robert the Bruce's dying wish to have his heart buried in Jerusalem, Buckaroo Banzai carried Einstein's brain with him through the fateful jet car run through solid matter. It was, after all, Einstein who worked on Project Rainbow, the original time-space window back in 1943, also known as the infamous Philadelphia Experiment. The test either went spectacularly haywire or never actually happened, depending on whom you choose to believe."

It took a minute for that to sink in, and then I laughed a long, long time. And I won't even be able to finish this brilliant little B-movie until late tonight.

Break a leg, fellow CLOSER peeps, and hope to see everyone here over there sometime this week!!!

Geez, I own the BB DVD, and I didn't know that stuff was on it. I own it because it seemed like the sort of film I should own, but I'm not certain I ever watched it.

I don't buy many DVDs because there are so few films I'd watch more than once. And almost none I'd watch more than, say, three times, and most of them I have already watched that many times. I own a few classics that I want to have on hand but almost never watch them.
