"Oh lord.
Oh lord in heaven.
I have spent a couple of minutes trying to figure out just why this image of Kelsey Grammer as Beast from X3 is so awful, and I feel like pinpointing one thing is impossible. Part of it is the cheesy pose – it looks like he’s the model on a can of temporary blue coloring hair spray.
Part of it is surely the fact that Beast is a character who just looks better in comics than in real life because he’s so silly. The basic model for this Beast seems to be Ultimate X-Men, and I think they should have gone with the new, catlike Beast in the mainstream X-Men titles. That way Grammer would have been under a whole lot of prosthetics." -Devin, CHUD.com
