I have re-installed the latest version of Quicktime no less than three times (an ordeal that takes three hours via dial-up) and it *still* won't work whenever I try to watch trailers!!! I just get a Quicktime symbol with a "?" in it! GAHH!

My mother is deathly ill and there's not a damn thing I can do for her. My grandmother is dottering around and being a royal pest, as is her way. It's warmer than before, but still too cold for this mood. One of my cats left me a little present in my bed, a half mole lovingly garnished with regurgitated cat chow. My brain won't turn off again; it's been buzzing like a beehive for the past week now, and nothing I can do will shut it up. I've tried doing things, and none have helped. And a handful of my peoples still haven't returned my calls inquring the possibility of hangings-out, so until they do, I'm stuck here.

So I'm just gonna sit here, write, and be productive. Until, y'know, such time as that I can have a social life.

EDIT: Now my mother is reading PATRIOT GAMES and said, "Sorry to say this, but this book is pretty damn good."

Someone get me *outta* here, please!

I hate to be the bearer of potentially bad tidings, but I have heard that you can only use the newest version of quicktime if you actually are using a mac...I hope I am wrong, but that is what I have heard...

Nnnnooooo, this was specifically the Windows version. It now downloads as double with iTunes, so I got the new iTunes, but the quicktime won't work. But it *did* say for Windows...

Shit, dude, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. She's cool. Having only heard one sentence on the subject I'm going to assume that means "deathly ill" just means "experiencing extremely unpleasant symptoms" and not "actually in danger of dying."

Ehh, the X3 trailer ain't worth it.

Holly did and she's now gonna call you or something? Personally, I'd really, really wanna see Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang with you guys while it's still playing. Besides, the LA-phile in you would probably really appreciate it.

We'll figger it out.

By "deathly ill", I mean vomiting so much and so violently that she burst a few cappilaries and actually was vomiting blood at one point.

So maybe not near death, but boy, really not doing so well.
