It's a strange, somewhat sad feeling when you realize that you are not now nor ever will be Mister Darcy, Dean Martin, Matt Murdock, Aragorn, Harry Potter, Peter Venkman, Sebastian.

That you are now and will probably always be Mister Bingley, Jerry Lewis, Foggy Nelson, Samwise Gamgee, Ron Weasely, Ray Stanz, Sir Andrew Aguecheek.

Then again, I suppose it's better to be Peter Parker than Flash Thompson in the long run. On one hand, you get the readhead supermodel wife. On the other, you will always be an insufferable angst-bucket.

Did I have a point? Eh, whatever. Back to selling comics until I can think of more literary comparisons.

Hey, both Sam and Ron are love. I always liked Ron better than Harry, and I think I'd rather be Sam than Aragorn anyway--he ends up mayor with a wife who loves him and won't outlive him for centuries. Aragorn is love too, of course, but he's so angsty, poor guy. Sam is simple, brave, and intensely loyal...qualities I'd love to have.

I know Austen purists hated the Rev's depiction in the new movie, but I was kinda feeling for the poor schmuck... but yeah, thank Gadfrey I'm not him at least.
