Stick Figure Hamlet. This is actually surprisingly good. I've recently dreamed about what it'd be like to do a Hamlet graphic novel, and man, if only I had the perfect artist, I'd so be on top of that.
This webcomic is actually a pretty good example of what a Shakespeare comic could do, even if much of it is played for laughs. I'd personally like to incorporate other factors like silent flashbacks to flesh out the back-stories of the characters. Like, remember the flashback in Branagh's "Henry V" with Hal and Falstaff and the guys? Like that, but of Hamlet's happier days at Wittenberg with boyhood friends Horatio, Rosencrantz, Guildenstern, Fortinbras, and Laertes.
I'd also incorporate stuff like the use of Ophelia's diary as it was done in the the Rudes' recent production. Because really, bending the text just that much (Polonius broke into her diary and lied when he said she willingly gave it up) finally, FINALLY gave me a sympathetic Ophelia.
In other news, as I've been experimenting with mixed drinks of late, I've also been playing with different garnishes as recipies demand. I, for one, did not know that vanilla beans cost $39 an ounce ($499 per lbs). Holy sweet merciful crap.
I just threw in a drop of real vanilla extract, I think that got the job done just fine.
Oh, and as the icon might indicate, I am now more than ever simply dying to see Hugh Jackman play Harvey Dent alongside Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne. It pains me how it's just never gonna bloody happen.
