So, who'd be willing and able to do an updated, animated version of my icon here based along a cropped version of the following, because really, this is too good. God, it's just hypnotic, right up there with the Billy Idol in a Winter Wonderland and Hulk Hogan's best pirate impression as he sneers out "DOO-KIEEE?!?!" Which, if you haven't seen, I'll post for the next "Talk Like A Pirate" day.

¡ES IMPOSIBLE!

No, it was full out bawling in rage and pain. And I always liked that as a kid because I'm an ugly crier, with chin-puckering action, and it was the first film I saw that reflected that. And I still really like that scene.
Of course, I was imbued with Star Wars at such a young age that I have no memory of my reaction to seeing that infamous reveal for the first time. For as long as I remember it was something I've always known. Though I do remember seeing Raiders of the Lost Arc for the first time when I was about five and getting scarred for life by the melting Nazis. Yeah, my late grandmother had...odd ideas in what sort of films would be appropriate for a young child. She also thought that my toddler brother would enjoy Zulu.
