By no means am I saying don't be apprehensive. But there's been more than enough evidence out there to show that he and his entire crew as deeply, sincerely dedicated to getting this film right, and if it fails, it was be from lack of talent, not lack of effort. Just one of the surprisingly promising elements was the casting of non-name actors but rather Oscar-worthy and character actors.
So far, he's shown us that there might actually be the potential for this to be something special, and its on that potential that I'm willing to give him a chance. In the meantime, we should be hoping for the best, not expecting the worst.
