A Watchmen/Muppet one can't be far behind... Your hollis and Mason choice slays me... how about Pepe the Prawn playing the kid reading the comic book leaning on a spark plug?
BTW: I'm like this... I'm stomaching any misgivings of the Watchmen film until I see it in it's entirety. Like I did everytime some yutz attempt to adapt any of the Dune novels (David Lynch/Sci Fi) Like theatre, we have to let go when a beloved writers' work is adapted, let it unfold, and judge it afterwards. We might be pissed at what's left out and portrayals that veer from our tiny little intractible preconcieved notions of what the characters should be... but I'd rather give it a chance just for the sheer attempt of tackling the awesomeness.
