I forgot to mention, photo credit goes to fiveseconddelay. He came by to borrow my copy of Cormac McCarthy's THE ROAD. There's an ironic metaphor to be made there, but I haven't the energy to figure it out.

Yeah, it's just a bent or stuck valve. Shouldn't cost too much or take too much time. Hopefully.
