Also, congratulations on being not just an adult, but an entertaining and impressive one. This pleases us, makes us unjustifiably proud, or at the very least, justifiably happy. =)
Thanks! Frankly, I don't feel like I've quite made it yet. We're just waiting for the chirp chirp chirp get through the next couple of months before I can feel like we're able to get on with the process of life as we will soon come to know it. Right now, it's a juggling and high-wire act with hoops of flame and elephants of discontent.
And yes, that's our home! Actually, it's Mom's dream house. She spent many years planning and designing it, and eventually had it built from the ground up after tearing down the shack we used to live in there. The cost of living there has always been super high between maintenance, heating, AC, taxes, etc, and we've always known that we couldn't live there forever. It actually looked like we'd have to move just a year or two into our time there, so really, we're lucky and grateful to have gotten seven years there.
Still sad to move, though. The whole moving process from this place, and what it's meant to us... well, I've felt a little bit like I'm in a Chekhov play for the past couple months.
