Fashion Advice!

I am having the damndest time deciding. If I'm gonna splurge for this, I want it to be something I can have to use and reuse over and over again. Not just for Halloween, but for Christmas, special occasions, dances, opera, even fucking around and going in it to Ren Faire (hey, so it's about 300 years off, so what?). So I need your advice, O me brothers and only friends. Which would look better on Heffie?

Silver looks good on redheads, and with silver tux/greatcoat. You're more likely to wear a brown, purple, or black... so go with the brown.

And be prepared to spend a metric buttload.

Pretty much, yeah: the brown. It's the one that will look better out of context. The silver may well be period, and it doesn't look out of place in the movie, but if you wear it around today the darker suit will convey the period better.
