So in typical Heffie fashion, I neglected to get a second thesis advisor. This, it has been brought to my attention, should have been done LAST SPRING. Well, shit. And now I fear that every professor is going to be swamped to the gills with other seniors' work, and thus be unable to spare the time to read/critique my huge-ass novel, which is still as of yet unfinished thanks to major rewrites. So quite frankly, I don't know if I'm going to find one.
Worst case scenario? I'm going to have to dump my Humanities major. So yeah, basically, BFD. A Humanities major just might have been even more useless than my previous English major, and I was only doing it just to do it. Also, it would have been nice to have had my first novel scoured over by professors (not to mention having the added incentive of having a deadline) before I started shopping it around.
I can live with the already-useless Drama major and marginally useful Creative Writing minor if it comes down to it. And hell, with all the other plays I'll be doing this upcoming year, because I'm stupid like that, Lord knows how the hell I'll be able to get the damn novel finished before graduation, much less keep from failing French II.

I'm sure it was an excellent show in the usual Hefner manner. Know that there are people out there that care about you and wish you the best. Take it easy.
