thehefnerSo I got a second thesis advisor, a teacher I don't especially like or respect but damn it I need him if I'm to get a Humanities major. Let's clarify: I don't really give a shit about the Humanities major, I was just looking for A.) a deadline that would force me to finish my novel, and B.) a professional, scholarly scouring and critique of the work before I submit it to publishers. The Humanities major was just be a sort of badge of honor upon finishing this.
So I'm gonna force myself to write three pages of my novel every day, starting tonight. If I feel lazy some days, I'll just majorly revise a few pages but write at least one. I've got major rewrites ahead of me, so the novel that was finished is now far from. As if life.
And to make life just that much more interesting... I've just been cast as Gayev in THE CHERRY ORCHARD. Whoop-fuck-diddy-do.
