Trailer! Spielberg's WAR OF THE WORLDS!!!

When I first heard about this being made, I thought Spielberg would either create a masterpiece or a huge Independence-Day piece of dreck. In fact, I still kind of question making the adapation modern instead of in the early 20th Century, if only because a modern WAR OF THE WORLD is what ID4 was, wasn't it?

Well, the teaser trailer is out. And now I'm getting really, really excited.

Pay close attention to that voice-over. With one or two word exceptions, it's taken straight from the original H.G. Wells book!!! GEEKGASM!!!
