I dreamt last night that I met Bub the Zombie (from the movie DAY OF THE DEAD and my icon right here). We hopped into a glorious red Cadillac convertible and went on a Stienbeckian/Gonzo road trip through the American southwest, fueled by the music of Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and Beethoven. And we both, human and zombie, taught each other valuable lessons about what it meant to be human and alive.

It was one of the best dreams I've ever had in my life.

funny thing, i do such a good job of recreating the sensation of being high in my dreams. my subconscious is amazing! i'm in love with it. when i dream about smoking pot, i feel the most realistic sensation of being high... its literally like being high for free and without any of the negative health implications. if only i could do this while awake, i'd be set...

I had a dream the other night where my mother tricked me into going to thailand so tim curry could kidnap me and frame me for committing a crime and i ended up spending the rest of my life in prison in a different country. that wasn't fun. i also have a feeling that the dream was a sequel, because the writing was pretty bad and i felt like i only understood what was going on because of prior knowledge of past events that i magically had.
