Mar. 28th, 2005 02:55 pmComing soon! TARTUFFE- The Musical! Featuring the hit song, "John, Stop Touching Me!"
Man, I love improv. It almost makes wading through a day like this worthwhile. I even coined a catchphrase! We were playing Superheroes, and my character's name was "BreakDancingMan." So, being John Hefner... as is my wont... I let loose into a flurry of Hefnerness, and cried out: "CAN'T... STOP... THE RHYTHM!!!"
Oh, and in other news, Liz is up for doing the scene from CLOSER. Awwwwesome. I do hope some people can make it to that. Even if it's just a scene, I so want to do it justice. Liz (Sylvia) is one of the best actresses here, and I've been wanting to work with her since forever. She was gonna be in JOE EGG back in the day, but had to bail out. Whenever we auditioned together, we always had such great chemistry. I don't know what she'll make of Anna.
She'll definitely be different from Julia Roberts (always a good thing). She's not who immediately comes to mind when I think of Anna, but she's also brilliant, so I'm gonna be very, very interested to see how this goes. As for me, looks like I'm gonna have to channel some of Hank from MARVIN'S ROOM to achieve Larry-level violent anger. A dangerous place to go, sure, but man is it fun.
