When I returned from playwrighting class, I came home to the smell of marijuana thick in the air. You know, I'm actually surprised this is the first time. Of course, it was my pet hippie who done the deed, but if he'd ever smoked up in our room before, he must have done a much better job with ventilation, 'cause this is the first time I've ever noticed it. And wow, did I notice it.

I asked him about it, and he looked stunned and embarrassed. Well, about as stunned and embarrassed as the Saaaddest Hippie in the Whooooole World can look. I just told him he should be aware, that I didn't mind, it was ok, and hell, at this point even I could probably go for some right about now. I was only half-joking.

When the Heffie's away the Hippie will... be saaaaad.
