Jul. 14th, 2005 05:00 pmI've got a hot date this Sunday with a girl I met through gk2gk.com (a geek personals site). She's coming over to my (Ma's) place. I'll be making dinner and preparing a generally romantic atmosphere. Hell, I'll even clean my room. And, of course, we'll watch movies. That should go without saying.
Several people have suggested/insisted upon "Dangerous Liasons," but my mother thinks the movie is insufferably stupid. So I dunno, maybe I should rent it and watch it first. Maybe I'll go with "Quills" instead, a movie that is most definitely twisted and hot. Besides, the only really hot and sexy movie I have, "Ravenous" aside, is "Body Heat," starring Kathleen Turner and William Hurt. On the other hand, maybe I shouldn't be trying so hard. After all, I'm the guy who's shown "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Titus," and "Ravenous" as date movies before. Of course, consdering how those girls turned out, perhaps I really should reconsider that plan...
I have to say, though, it's really fun and great to planning a romantic evening for someone who I'm not already totally in love with and involved with in some way. I sorta feel like, heavens, I'm gonna actually *date* somebody for once. And indeed, this should provide adequate distraction before my audition Monday...

Date: 2005-07-14 09:48 pm (UTC)I thought CITY OF LOST CHILDREN was ok, but it wasn't as good as DELECATESSEN and AMILE, from the same guys. Both of which are, I'd think, better romantic movies to boot...

I am implying that she partook in sexual intercourse with said Amelie, that she enjoyed it, and is recommending that you partake in sexual intercourse with Amelie as well. I'm just saying
