I am currently obsessed with this music video: "Coin-Operated Boy" by the Dresden Dolls.
Punk cabaret. German-style, pre-Nazi cabaret. With bowler hats, panties, lingerie, white face makeup and red lipstick ala the Emcee. I think I'm in love with this girl. Too bad she's with the only other member of the band. Oh well.

Even my mother was won over by how utterly... different... the video for "Coin-Operated Boy" was. I'd say this is one of the coolest things I've seen in recent memory. If only I hadn't fucking missed the absolutely brilliance that apparently was on in "American Dad" today.
I don't like the show. But today apparently Patrick Stewart's cartoon self wore a pink bathrobe, shook his butt, and sang Oingo Boingo's "Little Girls." I hate myself for missing this. In this moment, I hate myself more than I hate Richards. Because even without seeing this, that truly is the greatest thing ever.
I shall drown my sorrows in a punk cabaret singer in black panties and Joker makeup.
