Movie Casting REDUX
Nov. 6th, 2005 03:17 pmSince I'd gotten several comments and criticisms regarding who I'd cast in the movie of my life, The Hefner Monologues, I've decided to revisit some of those choices and add a couple more.
( First of all, I was shocked to discover I omitted this obvious one )
Also, my mother took serious exception to being Kathy Bates. She pestered me all night to go up here and recast her. Like Elvis stamps, here's ( young Roberta Davids. And yeah, it actually is a good choice. ) Happy now, Ma?
But also, I realized that I had completely neglected to cast myself! I suppose I naturally assumed I'd be playing myself, egotist that I am. Now, humbled, I have to ponder who out there could possibly capture John Hefner.
( Who could play me? )
And finally, I really feel bad for the whole Jabba the Hutt as my grandmother thing. That was just going too far. I could justify Tobey Maguire as Misty, but that... no, that's just too much. I apologize. Allow me to recast, in all seriousness.
( Who should play my grandmother? )
Remember. The Special Hell.
