Yes, I'm seeing BORAT tonight, because that is the priority. However, running a close second ever since I saw the trailer for it Wednesday night, is FLUSHED AWAY.
Now, there are tons of good reasons as to why this movie is going to rock. First, it's Aardman, the WALLACE AND GROMIT guys. Second, even though it's CGI, it's apparently so faithful to their claymation stuff that one reviewer swore he saw a fingerprint on one of the characters. Third, Jean Reno voices a character named "Le Frog." Excellent reasons all. But one reason above all others is what will ensure that I'll be in a theatre this weekend:
The slugs.
Seriously, watch that trailer (or better yet, see the movie). I swear, I am still dying with a combination of laughter and teh cute over those slugs. They are going to be the new "Toy Story aliens," or at least they should be. I never thought slugs could be this funny or cute.
