JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAN!!!!!!!
Jul. 10th, 2007 06:16 pmWith Jude Law in the Michael Caine role (again) and Michael Caine in the Olivier role.
(umm... if the above embedded video doesn't work--possibly because AOL is run by a bunch of asshats, I couldn't say--the direct link to the SLEUTH remake trailer is here.)
Now, I love me the original film something fierce. I hope the remake will retain the original's sense of wicked, slightly-parodic fun. I'm no fan of Pinter (yet... I've only read his plays but never seen one, and while the scripts are mind-numbingly, maddeningly tedious, I get the distinct feeling that they're meant to be seen not read), but the little bits I see here, coupled with my familiarity of the original play, has me intrigued.
Still no word on who's playing Inspector Doppler, though. I honestly don't know who could top Alec Cawthorne.
Oh, and fans of comics, X-Men, and this icon? Matt Gardner, AKA Wogoat, has finally, after over a year, returned!!!
X-MEN: PHOENIX SEASON.
Go. Watch. Laugh. Love.
No, seriously, comic fans. Go.
