--So the moral of LOST is similar to the moral of the Jedi Council: if you're the good guys, don't be smugly manipulative and evasive pricks and suddenly be all surprised when other characters betray you for the bad guys. Especially the charismatic bad guys who at least pretend to give a shit. Hell, wouldn't you rather follow Palpatine or Smokey if the supposed good guys acted like Yoda and Dogan?

--That said (and this is a comment that, like, three people will get), Sayid now reminds me of Robotman in JSA: THE GOLDEN AGE. And that's not a good thing.

--I hated Ben Linus when he first appeared. Hated, hated, hated him. I especially hated him because I knew he was going to become one of the main characters, and was beloved by fans. I actively did not want to like Benjamin Linus. So what's it say about me when the episode "Dr. Linus" started and I immediately did a little dance and sang "BEN! BEN! IT'S BEN BEN BEN! YAY BEN!" I have taken to calling him Squishy, for reasons that only two others will get, even though they don't watch the show.

--In the same episode, WILLIAM ATHERTON!!!!! DICKLESS HIMSELF!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW'S CASTING DIRECTOR!

--Apparently many fans dislike the Richard-centric episode, because many fans are the same kind of idiots who hated the VENTURE BROS episode "The Invisible Hand of Fate": because it was mythology building (and explaining!) while rooted firmly in the backstory and development of a single supporting character. People seem to hate these kinds of episodes on the thought that, like, they don't actually advance the story, just provide wasteful exposition. Which is bullshit. Episodes like this and "The Invisible Hand of Fate" are the utter hearts of their respective series.

--Finally, I don't know what the hell to make of this video (apparently there's been a meme going around while I've been offline that I've missed?) and I don't know if it'll make you laugh too... but on the off chance that you have my sense of humor, stick through to the end:
