I've started writing essays of The Hefner Monologues. Last night I finished the one on my grandfather and my grandmother. Should I post it here? Tonight I've started working on my adventure at the Emm Gryner concert. I'll work on these first and get to the angst a little latter, once the gift of time and perspective and settled in a wee bit more.

The first meeting of the Closer cast went very, very well. This is going to be so fucking awesome. Incidentally, we thought it would be a brilliant idea if Emerill came out on stage at the end of every scene. Just think about it.

"Now fuck off and die. You fucked-up slag." "BAM!"

"Don't you have an original idea in your head?" "BAM!"

"I want you to reach down and touch the floor for my viewing pleasure." "Is that what you want?" "What else could I want?" "BAM!"

That could only be topped with what I thought of when I heard that Shakespeare In Love's John Madden was directing the movie version of Proof: "My father didn't write that. I did." "BOOM!"

My mother's farts could fell a water buffallo.

I know I promised you a longer description of your grandfather's work. I'm chasing down an article written about him (i think by sabr itself) that should be pretty interesting. Then I can add my own views to go along with that. Sorry for the delay.
