Attention, movie lovers

thehefnerKISS KISS, BANG BANG is one of the most perfect movies I have ever seen.
I don't mean to say that it's best picture worthy or anything like that. What I mean is, for what it is, it's absolutely flawless and brilliant.
It's playing in extremely limited showings, like maybe 3 theatres in the entire DC/Metro area (Georgetown and Egyptian Movico, I know that much), and with HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE and WALK THE LINE coming out, it's gonna be absolutely trounced. This movie NEEDS your support as soon as possible.
The writing here is better and wittier than anything Joss Whedon has done. There, I said it. I don't care if I'm biased, I still mean it. Want to prove me wrong? By all means, see the movie for yourself.
How many BIG LEBOWSKI fans actually saw it in theatrical run? Well CHUD.com said this movie is the next BIG LEBOWSKI, and while I never was a huge rider on the Lebowski train (BLOOD SIMPLE was always my favorite Cohen Bros film), KISS KISS BANG BANG is one of the most brilliantly quotable movies I have ever seen. Yes, I'm speaking in hyperbole, but it's just that good.
It certainly deserves to be the next BOONDOCK SAINTS, a movie I really enjoy but is mightily flawed. It's far superior to BOONDOCK in every way, and every fan of that film will get an absolute kick out of this.
I cannot, cannot praise this movie enough. I know it will never be as good as I'm hyping it, but it will still be brilliant. It is a little gem of perfection that everyone needs, absolutely needs to know about.
Joss Whedon fans will love this. Terry Pratchett fans will love this. Raymond Chandler fans and fans of 50's style noir and animated titles and cool jazz will love this. Val Kilmer is always awesome and Robert Downey Jr is so... well, let me put it this way- I would let him play Johnny Go instead of me. He's just that good.
See if before it's gone. How many good movies like this ever get made? In the name of intelligent filmmaking, see this movie NOW. Make it a double feature with HP.
