So to the handful of people who were up for seeing BOSTON MARRIAGE with me sometime this week, looks like we're gonna have to hold off until next week when I'm not working so much. I still totally wanna do it, though. I'll keep you posted.

That said, who else would be up for joining me on my birthday this Friday to watch the remastered cut of the original 1933 KING KONG at the AFI? That is, assuming there's even a showtime after 8:30ish, since I wouldn't be able to get there any sooner. The AFI website isn't listing showtimes yet but I'll keep checking.

My friend ayrdaomei was asking the other day if anyone was going to see Ultraviolet...I told her I wished the three of us could go. She's in Virginia, so closer to DC than I am. Anyway, I'll let you know what she thinks of it.

I think it was the way it unabashedly made fun of the fashion industry and the non-supermodelness of the leads (although the two of them were undeniably hot, in a geeky sort of way!).

For the past 3 days I've beenw andering around going "March 4th... March 4th... There's something about March 4th... I'm working. That might not be a good thing. Is it the IMAX tickets? No, those are for the 3rd. Can't be something for class...." I've been asking people "Can you tell me what the significance of March 4th is? Because it's driving me insane that I can't remember, but I know there's something."

Sadly I ain't gonna be able to make it, as I'm working Friday and going to WAC to see a production of DEATH OF A SALESMAN and get mightily smashed. Well, maybe not that last part. But I saw CoE when it first ran, so hopefully I will be forgiven...
