Ok. Through the magic of YouTube, allow me to show you just why JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED so utterly and completely rocks.

"The Once And Future Thing." This is a complete episode where the League chases the time traveling villain Chronos into the Wild West. Why do I think any of you would care? Take a look at this voice cast:

Bat Lash: Ben Browder
Jonah Hex: Adam Baldwin.

Jayne from FIREFLY and Crichton from FARSCAPE. Together in the Wild West. Plus Peter Macnicol of GHOSTBUSTERS 2 and ALLY MCBEAL fame. Why aren't you watching this already?

Or if you'd prefer a short but sweet clip instead, What happens when arch-bad guy Lex Luthor's brain gets switched with that of the Flash? In this clip, Lex (voiced by Clancy Brown of Highlander fame, among tons of other things you've seen), addresses the Legion of Doom. But it really isn't Lex, it's the Flash, who has to try to impersonate Lex so the other villains are none the wiser. The results are marvelous.

Seriously, watch. It's not like most of you were gonna tune into Cartoon Network or pick up the DVDs.

Ok my inner geek is coming out.

K & I Tivo the show. It does rock. I especially like this past episode with Luthor in Flash's body. The Flash is much, MUCH more powerful than anybody thought.

To bad the show is ending.

My favorite episode had no place in the whole JLU storyline but I don't care. Epilogue I think it was titled. Wrapped up the whole Batman Beyond thing and put a twist on it, I love Beyond. (Englanders know it as Batman of the Future, ick, I hate re-titling for overseas markets) Other than that there was an episode called Dark Heart written by Warren Ellis which was great, and just about anything that showcases the Flash is wonderful.

I don't get Cartoon Network, being one of those Canadians you hear about.
But spandex-heroes, Jayne and brain-switching are all things I like, so let's see...

and I couldn't stop laughing at it. The best was Luthor reasons at least he can find out the Flash's identity. Removes the mask, and well the reaction is priceless. I couldn't find video of that.

I still can't believe I missed the body-switching ep! The wink at the end of that one clip killed me dead. Maybe the whole ep is on youtube somewhere? I hope I can find it.

Nathen Fillon also does a voice on JLU too, right? (Another episode that I missed, dang it.)

Yeah, he voices Vigilante on two episodes. You might be able to find them in their entireity of YouTube (along with The Great Brain Robbery, it's there).

Also, Gina Torres and, uh, Inara are also on the show, voicing Vixen and Black Canary respectively.

Adam Baldwin's Jonah Hex is awesome, but in my opinion, not as awesome as William McKinney of Deliverance fame, who played grizzled old man Hex in that one episode of BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES.
