thehefnerWell, here we are. The one year anniversary of the night I technically lost my virginity.
There is such a story there, as indeed there usually are such stories when it comes to our first time. Of everything leading up to it, with me, Misty, and Dave, just getting royally smashed on irish car bombs. I thought about writing it out here, even started to for a paragraph, but I deleted it. I can't really write it, can't really exorcise those particular demons, until I write the whole Hefner Monologue. And before I write that, I need to write the one about my father. I need to face those and write them, write them and do them justice like I did with Tammy.
And I am fucking terrified at the prospect of writing those.
So instead, I'm just gonna work on the Bub and Johnny comic a bit more. And I'm gonna quietly reflect back at that bizarre, surreal night one year ago in the middle of a period that I hope to finally face one day.
