eye update
Apr. 24th, 2006 10:30 amWelp, had my follow-up appointment with the opthamoligist. He said my eye has really improved, that the pressure is much better, that the swelling and inflammation are gone, as are the spots in front of my eye. Negative for glaucoma. All great news.
So... uh... what about the floaters that I'm still seeing? The ones that I went to see him about in the first place?
Those, I have to live with, it seems. Unless they become a more serious problem, in which case, I'd have to undergo surgery. But till then, I have a whole new cluster of constant companions to follow me around everywhere in my left eye. Huzzah.
In other medical news, my father called me from the hospital to tell me he'd broken his hip and was taken to get surgery. So while he's getting ready for physical therapy, I suspect we're both wondering what this will mean from now. A nursing home? A nurse to come to his house?
These next few days will prove interesting. But then, this is me. The next few days always do.
