League of Washington Theatres Auditions

Hey, anyone doing League of Washington Theatres auditions?

Here's the thing. As I'm not equity, I don't think I can register on Monday. Can I?

I think the only time I can sign up is on Tuesday. HOWEVER, I have to be at work at Georgetown at 11:00, and the sign-ups begin at 10:00. I'd have to be outta there by 10:30 at the latest.

Will anybody be going Tuesday and would you be willing to drop off my headshots and register me? If not, what time should I get there to get out as soon as possible? 6 in the morning? Earlier?

I may send them an e-mail, informing them of my plight, to see if they could be of any help. They're pretty nice people, in spite of the utter craziness they endure for these auditions.

Any help would be mightily appreciated. Looks like I'll be taking Bloo on a merry adventure to Kinko's to get my headshots made!

(she'll be arriving here in almost exactly 12 hours. *squee*!)

If you are an Actors' Center member you can sign up Monday with your AC card in tow. If you do go Monday or Tuesday, show up as early as possible. I am proxying for someone, and am hoping to be there at the latest by 7am on Monday.

People showed up as early as 5am on the first day last year. If you go on Tuesday, go as early as you can, because all of the audition slots usually fill up by midday the 2nd day of registration.

I'm not a member of the Actor's Center, stupidly. Will they still let me in Monday?

I wonder if I can sign up for Actor's Center, like, tomorrow and be good for Monday...

No, not without an AC membership, in person or by proxy. It's $60... Check the site: http://www.actorscenter.org

Notice from there:
"Note: The first day of registration for the League of Washington Theatre auditions is June 5th. The deadline for joining the Actors Center in order to receive proirity at the League registration and to receive your membership card by mail is Monday May 29th. Anyone joining the AC after the 29th in order to receive priority at the League registration must do so in person at the AC office."

You'll have to go the office... and they have strange hours for Thu/Fri. 11am-2pm Thu, 10am-2pm Fri
