So I toweled off after getting all haggard and sweaty at the gym, then took a look in the mirror to see Randle P. McMurphy staring right back at me.



Yes. Apparently I have become 70's era Jack Nicholson.



It's one of the few times I'm actually not mortified by how balding I am (I keep telling myself- Kevin Spacey, Bruce Willis, Nicholas Cage, Patrick Stewart... I have more hair than any of these people! I totally do! I can still make it as a leading man actor!) and embrace it for the greater goofiness.

Why just think, when Halloween comes around, I TOTALLY will be the Joker for Bloo's Harley Quinn.

Dan, the guy playing McMurphy in our production, has a similar hairline... and the other night, during the scene after him and Chief's first round of shock therapy, he turned around to me after my line "Since you found them so amusing... perhaps a few more treatments?"... and I SWEAR he WAS Jack Nicholson - looks, voice, and all, for the rest of that scene.

Dan's McMurphy is pretty original, but for that one moment, he was channeling the big guy. Scary stuff :)

Talk to slyx about the Harley costume. He does wonders in rubber and has done one before. I don't think the pictures are up on his website (www.slyxfashion) but he does have them in the album he brings out to vending spots. If Bloo is comfortable enough with her figure, the rubber suit looks AMAZING.
(Personally, my stomach and I have yet to come to terms with one another, therefore there will be no rubber suits for moi.)
