Well, Perry has the history, but Jonah has retcon powers - as I understand it, the crotchety Perry White in Superman I (and subsequent films) is actually inspired by Jonah's legendary personality. On the other other hand, Perry's got better catchphrases. Great Caesar's ghost!
I'd say the odds are about even, depending on who resorts to hair-pulling first.
No, that person has wanked me a number of times on LJ. Loooong story. I think she friended Hefster here due to scans_daily. And god forbid you don't fully embrace slash; then her Talons of Passive Aggressivity come out and prick you.
yeah, i've been nailed on scans daily for saying that taking slash seriously to the point of thinking that character A and character B are actually gay, because of some minor thing they extrapolated from subtext, is just kind of dumb.
joke about it? find it funny to say such and such about A and B, cool.
but when people convince themselves its really the case?
dumb.
and indicative of someone who really needs to get out more.
The Jonah figure came out with the first Spider-Man movie, while the Perry figure came out a month or two back as part of DC Direct's Classic Silver Age Superman line.
Alongside a Jimmy Olsen figure, no less, which just might be the closest thing we'll ever see to a John Hefner action figure.
(I have no idea what it is, but it's the only part of the Spiderman movie I enjoyed and can remember. Peter Parker does something good and Jonah offers to send him a box of Christmas meat. It's stuck with me.)
The first Spider-Man movie is terrible for repeat viewing, as the flaws bother me more and more. The sequel is a thing of beauty for me, but that original is mightily flawed.
