thehefnerWhile I normally hate remakes of classics, I honestly have no big problem about Rob Zombie remaking HALLOWEEN. Mainly because I hate that damn movie. I think it's boring and overrated. Michael Myers himself especially; I know some folks might find an unstoppable, personality-devoid killer who has virtually no motivation scary, but forgive me if I think otherwise.
I mean, honestly, the only reason I have to watch the HALLOWEEN movies (aside from the Atkins-rific III: SEASON OF THE WITCH) is Donald Pleasance, who throws every inch of his acting talent into his performance as Dr. Loomis. His cries of anguish at the end of Part 4 were really quite harrowing. Well, anyway, Rob Zombie has announced who he's cast for his new Dr. Loomis.
Malcolm. Mc. Fucking. Dowell.
Ok. I am totally on board.
