Here's a conversation that I had yesterday--

ME: Hey Mom, you doing anything tomorrow night?
MOM: No, why?
ME: Because I just snagged a pair of free passes for PAN'S LABYRINTH.
MOM: What?! Really?!
ME: Yep! Wanna go?
MOM: Yes! Yes yes yes, absolutely! Oh, this is wonderful! I'm so glad you don't have a girlfriend!



Also, the happiest of birthdays to tompurdue, whom my Mom also thinks is cool.

I'm still crossing fingers that my dumb-ass multiplex will put Pan's on one of its twenty four screens! It is damn better than a movie about a giant crocodile in Africa!

Pan's Labyrinth was neat. I saw it last weekend, though I haven't had time to write up an entry on it yet. It's to cool to hear so many people wish to see it, but it's a shame that it's only playing in certain theaters right now. I suspect it will do very well on DVD though.
