Director Needed! And probably techies... and maybe a stage manager...?

Folks... I need a director.

It looks like my proposal for a one-man performance of THE HEFNER MONOLOGUES: MY GRANDFATHER'S LAST WORDS has been approved by the DC Fringe Festival. Now, I still have to read over the mess of paperwork, see what the details are, make sure I can get off of work on all the appropriate dates and times (that might present a problem; I'll talk with the boss tomorrow), and a whoooooooole lotta other stuff. But just in case it's all in order, and just in case I'm actually truly sincerely holy crap actually going forward with this, I need a director.

And probably a tech person or two for sound and/or lighting, depending on what the heck I'm actually going to need. But first and foremost, a director. I'm going to put an appeal out to the Speakeasy folks as well, to whom I'll likely be trying to workshop this story out as well, but also to my LJ friends and Rude Mechanicals peeps... who'd be interested in bringing THE HEFNER MONOLOGUES to life?

Now as long as I can get to sleep without worrying about how this conflicts with my work schedule...

And also, ideally at some point (maybe not this year, with so much else going on), I'll even be able to take this to Edinburgh Fringe. Which is a bit closer to you!

I have never been to the Edinburgh Fringe. Each year I keep saying I will go and each year something comes up (Cannes film festival is another such event!).
If you can make it bud, I will definately be there and I will pimp your show to all my mates.
