The only thing that pisses me off more than remaking a classic well-known film (like the upcoming DIRTY DOZEN remake) is remaking a cult film, which has the risk of eclipsing the original if people like it, or forever smearing its name if it's crap.
Similarly, in terms of adaptations rather than remakes, but I think it still applies... I don't think the title LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMAN will ever been redeemed to the public at large.
