"Yew stole mah stoh-ree."
Feb. 26th, 2004 03:17 pmWell. One has to wonder if Deppy's new flick, "Secret Window" won't turn out to be another flick like "Ninth Gate" or "The Astronaut's Wife." Depp aside, I really do think it will hinge upon John Turturro's character. I mean, have you seen the commercials? Really?
Turturro, one of the most beloved character actors out there, playing a Stephen King backwoods psycho hick who sort of looks like an Amish mix between Deliverance and Robert Mitchum's freaky evil preacher in Night of the Hunter. At this point, I can't stop quoting his line, "Yew stole mah stoh-ree," and then bursting out into a giggle.
Either it'll be really silly (and hopefully funny) or it might turn out actually creepy. But either way, I now have a new thing to constantly quote at random times, although as far as I'm concerned, nothing will ever top "Hey, wha' happened?!"
