I don't know about that. My dealer spends all his time playing "World of Warcraft". That's why he doesn't have a real job. He's certainly not scary in any way, though some of his other clients kind of are. I think American drug shopping is somewhat different, because up here, if you don't screw with them, they won't screw with you. In a similar vein, my current comic book guy is affable and helpful too! I mean, the first time I met him he tried to direct me to the manga section, but once we'd cleared up that little misunderstanding, we became buddies.
