First Photo from the new X-FILES movie.

One's a bit more lumpy, and the other's a bit more skinny, but who cares? It's Mulder and Scully, together again.

According to Chris Carter: "We spent a lot of time on [the mythology] and wrapped up a lot of threads. We want a stand-alone movie, not a mythology conspiracy one."

A stand-alone X-FILES movie. I am so totally, completely, and utterly there.

Although we both spelled it wrong. I forgot it was "Scully." I went and fixed it. I don't know why I think of skulls when I see her, but that's the way it goes.

Also, YAY!!!

Oh happy day! And it's the right tack to take because I always found the stand-alone eps to be the best and most memorable (i.e. the cockroaches and inbred family episodes.)

Cool indeed.

Although, with that big-ass "In the Name of the King" banner over the top, I almost wanna ask you to put "warning: this link may be offensive" disclaimers up...

I think CHUD.com redeemed themselves for their review of IN THE NAME OF THE KING:

Cute (once I temporarily permitted chud.com to blast popups all over my monitor).

And yet, that garish banner remains, like the ambushing photo of a beckoning bunghole. Alas, CHUD.

(Leelee still looks fetching, at least.)
