Oh, and guess who made it into the 2008 Boulder Fringe Festival?

So. Orlando Fringe in May. Seattle in June. Possibly DC Fringe in July. And Boulder Fringe in August. Plus whatever else I can get in between. Chicago, NYC, and LA are all on the radar.

All considered, not a bad first nationwide tour of THE HEFNER MONOLOGUES.

Once I get the balls to do it.

I want to get the show in good enough shape (and by extension, I want to get myself in good enough shape; the last couple performances have shaken my confidence some). I'm new to this whole leaving-town-to-see-the-world thing, so I'm gonna ease myself into it with North America, and then maybe next year hit up Edinburgh. In terms of Fringe, that's the big time, and I want whatever show I do there to be in tip-top shape.

Dude, I am in awe of you having the balls to get up on stage anywhere and do your thing. Speaking in public is pretty much my ultimate nightmare (coming in just above being eaten alive by Alsatians)

Heh, thankya! I tell you, though... doing it the first time was the easy part, relatively speaking. Keeping at it, trying again in different venues at different times, constantly reworking the material and performance, tripping up and learning from mistakes... that's the hard part.
