Very true, very true
Mar. 10th, 2004 12:10 amI actually would prefer to watch/listen to conservative or even ultra-concervatives speak than ultra-liberals. I can't stand people who are rabid about politcs I share, if only because their obnoxiousness hurts our image and makes the rest of us look like idiots. That said, my personal view on one particular touchy poltical issue wasn't expressed *exactly* in this quiz, but the result regardless turns out to be the same.

If there's one thing I won't tolerate, it's intolerance.
Date: 2004-03-10 09:20 am (UTC)There's a weblog I visit regularly, run by a Tennessee reverend. Thoughtful guy. Trouble is, while I'd love to comment on some of his writings on occasion, and foster a civilized debate, there's this conservative butthead that's pretty much co-opted the thing. Aggressive and intolerant.
The Quizilla thing is biased and too one-dimensional. Try politicalcompass.org. Much better.

Date: 2004-03-10 01:26 pm (UTC)I tested at -2.12 Economic Left, and -3.08 Social Libertarian, which on the graph is only slightly over the line in both. I like being close to the middle. It satisfies my Libran sensibilities! :)

Date: 2004-03-10 02:11 pm (UTC)I tested close to the middle, too; about 2.0 Economic, -2.0 to -3.0 Social. But even on that test, there were statements that couldn't apply to me quite right.
